RULES
(1) Members should be aware that this forum is available to a wide audience. Posting pornographic, offensive or illegal material or links to such material Is Not Allowed, and Posts and Threads of this type will be deleted. Vulgar language and swear words should be minimized. Seriously, we're all civilized here and If you feel like each sentence needs to have a "fuck" in it, you aren't old enough to use the word.
(2) As stated above, the forum is available to a wide audience - so when it comes to posting Fan Fiction or Stories, please post a Disclaimer before the story (including an age recommendation, if it will contain graphically portrayed violence, or strong language).
(3) Members should try to be as friendly and tolerant as possible, and treat other members with respect. Genuine personal attacks, flaming, or abuse towards other members is strictly prohibited, and will not be tolerated.
(4) SPAM: Your posts should not be all IN CAPS, or contain an overload of colours, smilies or large text. Single-word posts are not reccomended, If what you have to say can be expressed in one word, It's probably not worth the effort to type it. Likewise, posts should not be obviously attention-seeking or nonsense messages, and double-posting is unneccesary (simply edit your first post). Any posts of this kind is called SPAMMING, and apart from being annoying and rude, it simply will not be tolerated.
(5) THREADMANCING (Resurrecting in Old Threads): When a new movie/TV-show/song/event becomes popular, people naturally talk about -- it until it slowly becomes old news, no longer current or relevent -- and after that, anyone who tries to talk about it is usually seen as uncool or even annoying. Exactly the same principal applies to threads and posts. Try not to post in a thread older than a few months or so, unless you genuinely have something new and insightful to add. Pointless threadmancing is frowned upon by your peers.
(6) Members should not complain about other members or their actions in public, but instead contact the other member in a PM and discuss the issue. This also includes Moderator actions. If the private conversation doesn't solve it, the member should report it to a Moderator in private.
(7) Topics should be posted in their relevant area! If uncertain, you should read the description of each forum before posting, or ask a Moderator.
(8) Signatures and text quotes are acceptable, but Signature Pictures should be limited to an area of around 550x350 pixels (this area may include more than one picture). If you have questions, ask a Staff Member. I won't force a total size limit on anyone, but I will encourage common sense. If a Staff member asks you to either size a signature down, or remove it, you will do just that.
(9) Members should keep subject lines descriptive. A bad subject line would be "a question" or "this is cool".
