First off I Need to state Clearly that this game is NOT for the faint of heart. There is mild nudity, and highly grotesque imagery.

Abandon All Hope Ye who Enter Here
Such was the warning to anyone who dared enter the gates of hell.
In Dante's Inferno we follow the footsteps of a re-imagined version of the famous Dante Alighieri of Florence, as he battles his way through the 9 circles of Hell to free his beloved Beatrice.
In the games Dante Alighieri is imagined as a soldier who fought in the Crusades, to retake the holy city Jerusalem.
-Visuals- 8.5/10
I'm very torn between the graphics of this game. While the cinematics are truly amazing, some of the best I've seen in a while, some of the in game scenes sometimes doesn't live up fully to the rest of the game. At times there are surfaces in the game who appears almost completely blank, which is kind of disappointing.
Although most of the time the graphics will blow you away as you gaze into the fiery, cold, eternal depths of Hell.
-Sound- 7/10
There wasn't much of huge interest as far as sound goes. The music is indeed good, and really helps set the mood, but as with most Hack N' Slash games the combat sounds gets very repetitive after a while.
-Gameplay- 8/10
The overall gameplay is typical Hack N' Slash with little innovation.
Although this isn't necessarily a bad thing it may get repetitive.
Despite this there is still quite a few interesting aspects of combat that gives you a good thrill. You do wield the Scythe of Death himself, and that's always something.
-Story- 10/10
The story, which is loosely based of the original Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, Is very good. It is a love story, and a tale of self exploration, and facing up to ones crimes. And It's all put together very well, as you journey further into the depths of Hell, and you have to face all your sins, and defeat each one.
-Overall- 7.5/10
It is a good game. At times It will disgust, and scare the hell out of you, but It's still a very enjoyable game.
And as you complete the game you will unlock more game modes, and If that doesn't keep you going the DLC's surely will.
I only recommend you play this if your not Hugely religious, or faint of heart, as you might be offended, or get very scared by it.
